Blood

Exodous 12:21 Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto
them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill
the passover.
22 And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is
in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood
that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house
until the morning.
23 For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth
the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass
over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses
to smite you.
24 And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons
for ever.
25 And it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the LORD
will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service.
26 And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What
mean ye by this service?
27 That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD'S passover, who passed
over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians,
and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.
28 And the children of Israel went away, and did as the LORD had commanded
Moses and Aaron, so did they.
Leviticus 7:26 Moreover ye shall eat no manner of blood, whether it be of
fowl or of beast, in any of your dwellings.
27 Whatsoever soul it be that eateth any manner of blood, even that soul
shall be cut off from his people.
Leviticus 17:10 And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of
the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I
will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut
him off from among his people.
11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you
upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood
that maketh an atonement for the soul.
12 Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat
blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood.
13 And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers
that sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that
may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with
dust.
14 For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof:
therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of
no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever
eateth it shall be cut off.
Leviticus 19:26 Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither shall
ye use enchantment, nor observe times.
Deuteronomy 12:15 Notwithstanding thou mayest kill and eat flesh in all
thy gates, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, according to the blessing
of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee: the unclean and the clean
may eat thereof, as of the roebuck, and as of the hart.
16 Only ye shall not eat the blood; ye shall pour it upon the earth as water.
Deuteronomy 22:19 And they shall amerce him in an hundred shekels of silver,
and give them unto the father of the damsel, because he hath brought up
an evil name upon a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may
not put her away all his days.
Deuteronomy 27:21 Cursed be he that lieth with any manner of beast. And
all the people shall say, Amen.
Acts 15:19 Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from
among the Gentiles are turned to God:
20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols,
and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.
21 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being
read in the synagogues every sabbath day.
Acts 15:28 For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon
you no greater burden than these necessary things;
29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from
things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves,
ye shall do well. Fare ye well.
