Exodous 23:1 Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with
the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.
2 Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak
in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:
3 Neither shalt thou countenance a poor man in his cause.
2 Chronicles 19:1 And Jehoshaphat the king of Judah returned to his house
in peace to Jerusalem.
2 And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to
king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate
the LORD? therefore is wrath upon thee from before the LORD.
3 Nevertheless there are good things found in thee, in that thou hast taken
away the groves out of the land, and hast prepared thine heart to seek God.
2 Chronicles 20:35 And after this did Jehoshaphat king of Judah join himself
with Ahaziah king of Israel, who did very wickedly:
36 And he joined himself with him to make ships to go to Tarshish: and they
made the ships in Eziongaber.
37 Then Eliezer the son of Dodavah of Mareshah prophesied against Jehoshaphat,
saying, Because thou hast joined thyself with Ahaziah, the LORD hath broken
thy works. And the ships were broken, that they were not able to go to Tarshish.
2 Chronicles 25:5 Moreover Amaziah gathered Judah together, and made them
captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, according to the houses
of their fathers, throughout all Judah and Benjamin: and he numbered them
from twenty years old and above, and found them three hundred thousand choice
men, able to go forth to war, that could handle spear and shield.
6 He hired also an hundred thousand mighty men of valour out of Israel for
an hundred talents of silver.
7 But there came a man of God to him, saying, O king, let not the army of
Israel go with thee; for the LORD is not with Israel, to wit, with all the
children of Ephraim.
8 But if thou wilt go, do it; be strong for the battle: God shall make thee
fall before the enemy: for God hath power to help, and to cast down.
9 And Amaziah said to the man of God, But what shall we do for the hundred
talents which I have given to the army of Israel? And the man of God answered,
The LORD is able to give thee much more than this.
10 Then Amaziah separated them, to wit, the army that was come to him out
of Ephraim, to go home again: wherefore their anger was greatly kindled
against Judah, and they returned home in great anger.
Psalms 26:3 For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked
in thy truth.
4 I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.
5 I have hated the congregation of evildoers; and will not sit with the
wicked.
Psalms 28:3 Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity,
which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.
Psalms 40:4 Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth
not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
Proverbs 4:14 Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way
of evil men.
Proverbs 14:7 Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest
not in him the lips of knowledge.
Proverbs 14:33 Wisdom resteth in the heart of him that hath understanding:
but that which is in the midst of fools is made known.
Proverbs 17:12 Let a bear robbed of her whelps meet a man, rather than a
fool in his folly.
Proverbs 22:24 Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious
man thou shalt not go:
25 Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul.
Proverbs 23:6 Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye, neither
desire thou his dainty meats:
7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to
thee; but his heart is not with thee.
8 The morsel which thou hast eaten shalt thou vomit up, and lose thy sweet
words.
Proverbs 23:20 Be not among winebibbers; among riotous eaters of flesh:
21 For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty: and drowsiness
shall clothe a man with rags.
Proverbs 24:1 Be not thou envious against evil men, neither desire to be
with them.
2 For their heart studieth destruction, and their lips talk of mischief.
Proverbs 27:17 Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance
of his friend.
Proverbs 28:7 Whoso keepeth the law is a wise son: but he that is a companion
of riotous men shameth his father.
Proverbs 29:3 Whoso loveth wisdom rejoiceth his father: but he that keepeth
company with harlots spendeth his substance.
Isaiah 1:23 Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every
one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless,
neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them.
Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
Matthew 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your
pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again
and rend you.
Matthew 10:10 Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes,
nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.
11 And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is
worthy; and there abide till ye go thence.
12 And when ye come into an house, salute it.
13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be
not worthy, let your peace return to you.
Mark 8:15 And he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of
the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod.
Luke 6:22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate
you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as
evil, for the Son of man's sake.
23 Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is
great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.
Luke 6:26 Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did
their fathers to the false prophets.
Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge,
God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not
convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness,
maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of
evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable,
unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are
worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do
them.
Romans 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions
and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own
belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers:
for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion
hath light with darkness?
15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth
with an infidel?
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the
temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk
in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord,
and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters,
saith the Lord Almighty.
Ephesians 5:3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let
it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient:
but rather giving of thanks.
5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous
man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and
of God.
6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh
the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk
as children of light:
9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and
truth;)
10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather
reprove them.
12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them
in secret.
13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for
whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead,
and Christ shall give thee light.
15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

the world is the enemy of God.

a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the
ungodly;

with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should
live ungodly;
7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed
his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)
9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve
the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
1 John 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare
unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie,
and do not the truth:
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship
one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from
all sin.
