Exodous 3:18 And they shall hearken to thy voice: and thou shalt come, thou
and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and ye shall say unto
him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath met with us: and now let us go, we
beseech thee, three days' journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice
to the LORD our God.
19 And I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by
a mighty hand.
20 And I will stretch out my hand, and smite Egypt with all my wonders which
I will do in the midst thereof: and after that he will let you go.
21 And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and
it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty.
22 But every woman shall borrow of her neighbour, and of her that sojourneth
in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: and ye
shall put them upon your sons, and upon your daughters; and ye shall spoil
the Egyptians.
Exodous 4:21 And the LORD said unto Moses, When thou goest to return into
Egypt, see that thou do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put
in thine hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people
go.
22 And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son,
even my firstborn:
23 And I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou
refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn.
Exodous 7:1 And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to
Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.
2 Thou shalt speak all that I command thee: and Aaron thy brother shall
speak unto Pharaoh, that he send the children of Israel out of his land.
3 And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders
in the land of Egypt.
4 But Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay my hand upon Egypt,
and bring forth mine armies, and my people the children of Israel, out of
the land of Egypt by great judgments.
5 And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I stretch forth
mine hand upon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them.
Exodous 9:13 And the LORD said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning,
and stand before Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of the
Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me.
14 For I will at this time send all my plagues upon thine heart, and upon
thy servants, and upon thy people; that thou mayest know that there is none
like me in all the earth.
15 For now I will stretch out my hand, that I may smite thee and thy people
with pestilence; and thou shalt be cut off from the earth.
16 And in very deed for this cause have I raised thee up, for to shew in
thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.
17 As yet exaltest thou thyself against my people, that thou wilt not let
them go?
18 Behold, to morrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous
hail, such as hath not been in Egypt since the foundation thereof even until
now.
19 Send therefore now, and gather thy cattle, and all that thou hast in
the field; for upon every man and beast which shall be found in the field,
and shall not be brought home, the hail shall come down upon them, and they
shall die.
Exodous 9:34 And when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders
were ceased, he sinned yet more, and hardened his heart, he and his servants.
Exodous 14:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before Pihahiroth,
between Migdol and the sea, over against Baalzephon: before it shall ye
encamp by the sea.
3 For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are entangled in
the land, the wilderness hath shut them in.
4 And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, that he shall follow after them; and
I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians
may know that I am the LORD. And they did so.
5 And it was told the king of Egypt that the people fled: and the heart
of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said,
Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us?
6 And he made ready his chariot, and took his people with him:
7 And he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt,
and captains over every one of them.
8 And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued
after the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with an
high hand.
9 But the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh,
and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea,
beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the
Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that
was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
Romans 9:14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God
forbid.
15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and
I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of
God that sheweth mercy.
17 For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have
I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might
be declared throughout all the earth.
18 Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will
he hardeneth.
19 Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath
resisted his will?
20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing
formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?
21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one
vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
22 What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known,
endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:
23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of
mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,
Ephesians 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation
of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ
to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
Ephesians 1:10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might
gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and
which are on earth; even in him:
11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according
to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own
will:
