Exodous 22:28 Thou shalt not revile the gods, nor curse the ruler of thy
people.
Ecclesiastes 10:20 Curse not the king, no not in thy thought; and curse
not the rich in thy bedchamber: for a bird of the air shall carry the voice,
and that which hath wings shall tell the matter.
Daniel 2:20 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever
and ever: for wisdom and might are his:
21 And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth
up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know
understanding:
Daniel 2:36 This is the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof
before the king.
37 Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee
a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory.
38 And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and
the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee
ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold.
Daniel 4:17 This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand
by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that
the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever
he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.
Daniel 4:25 That they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall
be with the beasts of the field, and they shall make thee to eat grass as
oxen, and they shall wet thee with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall
pass over thee, till thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom
of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.
Daniel 5:21 And he was driven from the sons of men; and his heart was made
like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild asses: they fed him
with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven; till
he knew that the most high God ruled in the kingdom of men, and that he
appointeth over it whomsoever he will.
Mark 13:5 And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man
deceive you:
6 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive
many.
7 And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled:
for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.
8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and
there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines
and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.
9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils;
and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before
rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.
10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations.
11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand
what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be
given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but
the Holy Ghost.
12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the
son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them
to be put to death.
13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall
endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
2 Peter 2:9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations,
and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
10 But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness,
and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not
afraid to speak evil of dignities.
