Genesis 41:33 Now therefore let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt.
Exodous 9:23 And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: and the LORDsent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the LORDrained hail upon the land of Egypt. 24 So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, suchas there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation. 25 And the hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in thefield, both man and beast; and the hail smote every herb of the field, andbrake every tree of the field.
Job 36:26 Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the numberof his years be searched out. 27 For he maketh small the drops of water: they pour down rain accordingto the vapour thereof: 28 Which the clouds do drop and distil upon man abundantly. 29 Also can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, or the noise ofhis tabernacle? 30 Behold, he spreadeth his light upon it, and covereth the bottom of thesea. 31 For by them judgeth he the people; he giveth meat in abundance. 32 With clouds he covereth the light; and commandeth it not to shine bythe cloud that cometh betwixt. 33 The noise thereof sheweth concerning it, the cattle also concerning thevapour.
Job 37:5 God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doethhe, which we cannot comprehend. 6 For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the smallrain, and to the great rain of his strength. 7 He sealeth up the hand of every man; that all men may know his work. 8 Then the beasts go into dens, and remain in their places. 9 Out of the south cometh the whirlwind: and cold out of the north. 10 By the breath of God frost is given: and the breadth of the waters isstraitened. 11 Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his brightcloud: 12 And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoeverhe commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth. 13 He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or formercy.
Job 38:22 Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thouseen the treasures of the hail, 23 Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day ofbattle and war?
Psalms 77:17 The clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: thinearrows also went abroad. 18 The voice of thy thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightenedthe world: the earth trembled and shook. 19 Thy way is in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footstepsare not known. 20 Thou leddest thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
Psalms 148:7 Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps: 8 Fire, and hail; snow, and vapours; stormy wind fulfilling his word:
Jeremiah 4:11 At that time shall it be said to this people and to Jerusalem,A dry wind of the high places in the wilderness toward the daughter of mypeople, not to fan, nor to cleanse,
Jonah 4:8 And it came to pass, when the sun did arise, that God prepareda vehement east wind; and the sun beat upon the head of Jonah, that he fainted, and wished in himself to die, and said, It is better for me to die thanto live.
Nahum 1:3 The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not atall acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in thestorm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet. 4 He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers:Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languisheth. 5 The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burnedat his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein. 6 Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fiercenessof his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are throwndown by him.
Acts 27:13 And when the south wind blew softly, supposing that they hadobtained their purpose, loosing thence, they sailed close by Crete. 14 But not long after there arose against it a tempestuous wind, calledEuroclydon. 15 And when the ship was caught, and could not bear up into the wind, welet her drive. 16 And running under a certain island which is called Clauda, we had muchwork to come by the boat: 17 Which when they had taken up, they used helps, undergirding the ship;and, fearing lest they should fall into the quicksands, strake sail, andso were driven. 18 And we being exceedingly tossed with a tempest, the next day they lightenedthe ship; 19 And the third day we cast out with our own hands the tackling of theship. 20 And when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and no small tempestlay on us, all hope that we should be saved was then taken away. 21 But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, andsaid, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss. 22 And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no lossof any man's life among you, but of the ship. 23 For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whomI serve, 24 Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo,God hath given thee all them that sail with thee. 25 Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall beeven as it was told me. 26 Howbeit we must be cast upon a certain island.
