1 Kings 8:31 If any man trespass against his neighbour, and an oath be laidupon him to cause him to swear, and the oath come before thine altar inthis house:
32 Then hear thou in heaven, and do, and judge thy servants, condemningthe wicked, to bring his way upon his head; and justifying the righteous,to give him according to his righteousness.

Job 4:17 Shall mortal man be more just than God? shall a man be more purethan his maker?
18 Behold, he put no trust in his servants; and his angels he charged withfolly:
19 How much less in them that dwell in houses of clay, whose foundationis in the dust, which are crushed before the moth?
20 They are destroyed from morning to evening: they perish for ever withoutany regarding it.

Psalms 12:2 They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flatteringlips and with a double heart do they speak.
3 The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speakethproud things:

Proverbs 1:25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none ofmy reproof:

Proverbs 9:7 He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and hethat rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot.
8 Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he willlove thee.

4 Take the girdle that thou hast got, which is upon thy loins, and arise,go to Euphrates, and hide it there in a hole of the rock.
5 So I went, and hid it by Euphrates, as the LORD commanded me.
6 And it came to pass after many days, that the LORD said unto me, Arise,go to Euphrates, and take the girdle from thence, which I commanded theeto hide there.
7 Then I went to Euphrates, and digged, and took the girdle from the placewhere I had hid it: and, behold, the girdle was marred, it was profitablefor nothing.
8 Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
9 Thus saith the LORD, After this manner will I mar the pride of Judah,and the great pride of Jerusalem.
10 This evil people, which refuse to hear my words, which walk in the imaginationof their heart, and walk after other gods, to serve them, and to worshipthem, shall even be as this girdle, which is good for nothing.
11 For as the girdle cleaveth to the loins of a man, so have I caused tocleave unto me the whole house of Israel and the whole house of Judah, saiththe LORD; that they might be unto me for a people, and for a name, and fora praise, and for a glory: but they would not hear.

Jeremiah 13:23 Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots?then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil.
24 Therefore will I scatter them as the stubble that passeth away by thewind of the wilderness.
